New Delhi, December 4, 2025:The Science & Technology Ministry on December 4, 2025, told Parliament that India launched a total of 508 satellites in the last twenty years.
The Ministry informed that between January 2004 and December 2013, India launched 31 foreign satellites and 23 domestic satellites. In the subsequent period from January 2014 to November 2025, the country launched 398 foreign satellites and 56 domestic satellites, reflecting a significant rise in international commercial launches as well as domestic missions.
New Space India Limited (NSIL), a commercial arm of ISRO, earned Rs. 2572 Crore through Launch Service from FY 2019-20 till FY 2024-25, said the Ministry. The company spent Rs. 1985 Crore during the same period to generate the above revenue.
