Prime Minister Narendra Modi outlined a long-term roadmap for a developed India at the NITI Aayog meeting with leading economists, stressing reforms as the engine of growth towards 2047. He also expressed concern over reports of an attack on the Russian President’s residence, underlining India’s commitment to global peace and stability. The Prime Minister paid tributes through a Sanskrit verse honouring Netaji Subash Chandra Bose and extended condolences on the demise of Begum Khaleda Zia, as well as for lives lost in tragic accidents in Mumbai and Uttarakhand.
