PM Modi Condoles Loss Of Lives In Canada Shooting Incident

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended his heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones in a shooting incident in Canada.

PM Modi posted on X: “Deeply shocked by the horrendous shooting in Canada. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones and wish a speedy recovery to the injured. India stands in solidarity with the people of Canada in this moment of profound grief. @MarkJCarney”

Ten people, including the shooter, were killed and at least 25 were injured in a shooting at a school in Canada’s British Columbia on Wednesday, reports said. 

Rolls-Royce CEO Meets Prime Minister

CEO of Rolls-Royce, Mr. Tufan Erginbilgic met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at New Delhi on Wednesday.

PM Modi welcomed Rolls-Royce’s enthusiasm towards scaling up its activities in India.

The Prime Minister posted on X: “It was wonderful meeting Mr. Tufan Erginbilgic, CEO of Rolls-Royce earlier today.

PM Underscores Spirit Of Complete Devotion To Nation And Humanity Via Sanskrit Verse

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday shared a Sanskrit verse highlighting complete devotion in the service of nation and humanity.

“यस्येमे हिमवन्तो महित्वा यस्य समुद्रं रसया सहाहुः।

यस्येमाः प्रदिशो यस्य बाहू कस्मै देवाय हविषा विधेम॥”

The verse conveys, “To the nation, whose greatness is sung by the Himalayas, whose glory flows with the rivers to the ocean, and to whom the directions bow like mighty arms, we offer our entire being in dedication.”

PM Modi also stated that the pioneer of Antyodaya, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, also dedicated his life with this very spirit to empower every individual in the country.
