President Droupadi Murmu unveiled a bust of Chakravarti Rajagopalachari installed at the Grand Open Staircase near Ashok Mandap at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the initiative as a commendable effort reflecting India’s resolve to honour those who shaped the nation’s destiny and to shed remnants of a colonial mindset.
PM Modi said that Rajaji was a towering scholar, freedom fighter, thinker and administrator whose life embodied integrity, intellect and unwavering commitment to the nation.
The President also graced the ‘Rajaji Utsav’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan. As part of Rajaji Utsav, an exhibition on the life and work of Rajaji is being organised from February 24, 2026 to March 1, 2026 at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Rajaji Utsav is a wonderful initiative bringing out different aspects of Rajaji’s rich contributions to the nation, and urged people to visit the exhibition and draw inspiration from his life and ideals.

30 Lakh Households Adopt Rooftop Solar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the achievement of empowering 30 lakh households across the nation with rooftop solar power, describing it as a commendable milestone in India’s clean energy journey.
The Prime Minister complimented all beneficiaries who have embraced rooftop solar, noting that the initiative is boosting savings, sustainability and self-reliance among citizens.
PM Modi further emphasised that the scheme forms an integral part of the Government’s efforts to build an energy-secure, green and future-ready India.

PM Modi Highlights India’s Growing Leadership in Technology and Innovation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an X post said that the historic AI Summit held in Delhi witnessed widespread global appreciation for India’s capabilities.
He noted that it reflects how the forward-looking mindset of India’s youth in the field of technology can greatly benefit humanity.
The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit verse on the occasion-
“अविज्ञातस्य विज्ञानं विज्ञातस्य च निश्चयः। आरम्à¤ः कर्मणां शश्वदारब्धस्यान्तदर्शनम्॥”

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) announced Boong as the winner in the Children’s & Family Film category at the EE BAFTA Film Awards.

PM Modi said that Mukul Roy will be remembered for his political experience and efforts to serve society.
