PM Modi Thanks Trump For Reducing Tariff On Indian Products
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday spoke to US President Donald Trump and thanked him for reducing tariff on Indian products to 18%.
PM Modi said that when two large economies and the world’s largest democracies work together, it benefits our people and unlocks immense opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
”President Trump’s leadership is vital for global peace, stability, and prosperity. India fully supports his efforts for peace,” PM Modi said.
Prime Minister Modi posted on X: “Wonderful to speak with my dear friend President Trump today. Delighted that Made in India products will now have a reduced tariff of 18%. Big thanks to President Trump on behalf of the 1.4 billion people of India for this wonderful announcement.

Prime Minister Shares Sanskrit Verse Emphasising On Self-Reliance
Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Verse on X, emphasising on Self-reliance:
“नाम्à¤ोधिरर्थितामेति सदाम्à¤ोà¤िश्च पूर्यते ।
आत्मा तु पात्रतां नेयः पात्रमायान्ति सम्पदः॥”
The verse conveys that, the ocean never asks for water, yet it is always full. In the same way, when a person becomes capable, wealth comes to them naturally.
PM Modi stated that self-reliance is that lamp which shows the path of self-respect and capability and this time’s budget too will play an important role in making our young companions self-reliant and empowered.
