PM Modi To Be On Two-Day State Visit To Israel
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day State visit to Israel from February 25, 2026. This will be the second visit of the Prime Minister to Israel.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will meet his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu. The two leaders will review the significant progress made in the India-Israel Strategic Partnership.
They will discuss further opportunities in various areas of cooperation, including science and technology, innovation, defence and security, agriculture, water management, trade and economy, and people-to-people exchanges. The leaders are also expected to exchange perspectives on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
PM Modi will also call on the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog.
The Ministry of External Affairs said this visit will reaffirm the deep and long-standing strategic partnership between the two countries and will present an opportunity to review the common challenges as well as realign efforts towards achieving their shared vision for a robust partnership between two resilient democracies.
PM Congratulates Netherlands’ New PM Rob Jetten
Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his congratulations to Mr. Rob Jetten, on assuming office as the Prime Minister of the Netherlands.
The Prime Minister highlighted the extensive relationship shared between India and the Netherlands, across diverse sectors.
PM Modi stated that he looks forward to working closely with Prime Minister Jetten to add further momentum to the growing ties between the two nations and their people.
The Prime Minister wrote on X: “Congratulations Mr. Rob Jetten on assuming office of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands. India and the Netherlands share an extensive relationship across diverse sectors. I look forward to working closely with you to add further momentum to the growing ties between our two countries and people.”
Manipur CM, Dy CMs Meet PM Modi
Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh, along with Deputy Chief Ministers Nemcha Kipgen and Losii Dikho, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister briefed Modi on steps taken by the new government to restore peace and harmony in the state, the official statement issued by the Manipur Chief Minister’s Secretariat said.
Mr. Singh urged the Prime Minister to extend special attention to the all-round development of Manipur and the wider northeastern region, with particular emphasis on women’s empowerment in both hill and valley districts, the statement added.
Khemchand Singh and his two deputies also invited Prime Minister Modi to visit Manipur.
This was Khemchand Singh’s first meeting with the Prime Minister since assuming office on February 4, 2026.
