New Delhi, June 15, 2025:
Amid growing concerns over anti-national activities in Dhubri, Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that tough measures are being taken against those involved.
Speaking to reporters following an event in Dibrugarh, the CM said Assam is a "critical state" and such conspiracies have been continuing since independence.
"These threats won’t be stopped merely by issuing warnings. Strong action is necessary," he asserted.
Earlier on Friday, the Chief Minister directed the police to take firm steps during his recent visit to Dhubri. Acting swiftly, the Dhubri district police carried out an extensive operation across multiple police station areas, arresting 38 individuals linked to various criminal activities.
