Rain: CM Soren Directs All Deputy Commissioners to Remain on Alert Mode

Ranchi, June 20, 2025:

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has instructed all Deputy Commissioners across the state to remain on "alert mode" in view of the heavy rainfall forecast. 

The Chief Minister has emphasized the need for effective measures to tackle potential damage and waterlogging caused by the monsoon rains.

In his directive, CM Soren stressed that the district administrations must be fully prepared to ensure that the public does not face any inconvenience during this period. 

He called for special attention to drainage systems, relief and rescue operations, and the readiness of emergency services.

The Chief Minister also asked the Deputy Commissioners to identify vulnerable areas within their districts and maintain close monitoring there. 

He directed them to keep the public informed about weather updates and safety precautions on a regular basis.

The state government has directed all concerned departments to coordinate closely and remain prepared to handle any emergency situation. 

CM Soren further instructed that relief camps should be set up if necessary, and that immediate assistance be provided to those affected by the rains.
