Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conveyed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives in an accident that occurred in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh.
Taking to social media, Mr. Modi expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Ex-Gratia Announced for Victims' Families
In his message, the Prime Minister announced financial assistance from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF). An ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh will be provided to the next of kin of each deceased, while ₹50,000 will be given to those injured in the incident.
