India’s growth story continued across defence, agriculture, technology and culture on November 24, 2025. From the inauguration of the 6th International Agronomy Congress to the commissioning of the fully indigenous INS MAHE, the day showcased India’s strategic ambitions on land and sea. The BEL–Safran joint venture to manufacture the HAMMER smart precision-guided weapon in India marks another major milestone in defence self-reliance.
In parallel, TRAI cracked down on cyber-fraud by deactivating more than 21 lakh suspicious mobile numbers, while the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence seized foreign cigarettes worth Rs. 14.74 crore in Mizoram. India and Oman advanced talks on deeper defence industrial collaboration, and the Cyber Security Innovation Challenge 1.0 was launched to strengthen national digital security. Meanwhile, CCRAS unveiled SIDDHI 2.0 to boost evidence-based Ayurvedic pharma, and Bhutan began arrangements to return sacred Buddha relics during the visit of Union Minister Kiren Rijiju.
