The weekend of November 22–23, 2025 brought major developments across culture, climate responsibility, national security and foreign partnerships. Stricter GRAP restrictions were deployed to safeguard Delhi-NCR air quality, while the IFFI 2025 celebrations spotlighted India’s creative icons and rich folk heritage in Goa. 

The nation also welcomed major CoP30 outcomes on equity and climate justice, observed solemn tributes to Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, and recorded key successes in narcotics enforcement. 

On the strategic front, the Indian Navy commissioned INS Mahe, expanded cooperation in maritime security, while India strengthened global ties in agriculture, technology, trade and sericulture.
