India, Venezuela Agree To Deepen Cooperation In All Areas
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday received a telephone call from the Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Ms. Delcy EloÃna RodrÃguez Gómez.
The two leaders agreed to further expand and deepen the India-Venezuela partnership in all areas, including trade and investment, energy, digital technology, health, agriculture and people-to-people ties, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
Both leaders exchanged views on various regional and global issues of mutual interest and underscored the importance of their close cooperation for the Global South.
The two leaders agreed to remain in touch.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday shared an article written by Union Minister Piyush Goyal on historic India-EU Free Trade Agreement.
Responding to a post by Piyush Goyal on X, PM Modi said:

PM Pays Homage To Mahatma Gandhi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday paid tributes to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, on his death anniversary.
In a post on X, PM i Modi stated that Bapu always laid strong emphasis on Swadeshi, which is also a fundamental pillar of our resolve for a developed and self-reliant India.
“His personality and deeds will forever continue to inspire the people of the country to walk the path of duty,” PM Modi said.
PM Pays Tribute To Mahatma Gandhi At Rajghat
Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, at Rajghat, on his death anniversary, on Friday.

Prime Minister Shares Sanskrit Verse Highlighting Bapu’s Message Of Nonviolence
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday shared a Sanskrit verse highlighting the revered Bapu’s emphasis on nonviolence for the protection of humanity:
“अहिंसा परमो धर्मस्तथाऽहिंसा परन्तपः।
अहिंसा परमं सत्यं यतो धर्मः प्रवर्तते॥”
The verse conveys that, nonviolence is the highest duty, nonviolence is the highest penance. Nonviolence is the ultimate truth, from which all Dharma proceeds.
PM Condoles Loss Of Lives In West Bengal Fire Mishap
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled the loss of lives due to a fire mishap in Anandapur, West Bengal.
PM Modi also wished speedy recovery for those injured in the mishap.
The Prime Minister announced an ex-gratia from PMNRF of Rs. 2 lakh to the next of kin of each deceased and Rs. 50,000 for those injured.
